Wrestling fans who followed Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a 'The Rock') from the squared circle of WWE where he dominated foes with People's Eblows and Rock Bottom slams, should be happy to see him flexing his bad ass muscle again in his new movie, "Faster". The action movie comes out this week and features Johnson on a revenge mission to kill the men who killed his brother.
This may seem like a been-there done-that action flick but it seems to have it's own flash to it with Johnson as the star. He has proven in previous roles that he can be the be man of action in movies like " The Rundown" and "Southland Tales". But after sitting to syrupy family 'comedies' like 'the Game Plan' and 'The Tooth Fairy', 'Faster' feels like a return to form for Johnson. If you don't believe this, remind yourself this is an R rated movie. No tutus or fairy wings needed here, only bullets, fast cars, and cold stares.
