KLOTEN, Switzerland — Serge Aubin scored once and set up another two goals as Canada topped Switzerland 6-2 on Tuesday at the Swiss Challenge.
The Swiss tournament is former NHL star Mark Messier’s coaching debut.
Mark Bell, Micki Dupont, Shawn Heins, Josh Holden and Martin Kariya also scored for Canada.
Matt Zaba picked up the win in goal.
All of the players taking part in the Swiss Challenge for Canada are playing professional hockey in European leagues.
Messier will lead Canada again into the Deutschland Cup from Nov. 12-14 in Munich, Germany. He will also coach the men’s team participating in next month’s Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland.
